Our client in Cincinnati has an exciting opportunity for a Lead Analyst for their newly formed Analytics division. This individual will assist in all phases of project work, including problem formulation, model development, and deployment for use in support of internal and external client initiatives. This team will be applying classical statistical analyses as well as modern AI/Machine Learning techniques to help develop innovative solutions for various client issues.


RESPONSIBILITIES
•Develop and foster internal relationships across the business. Provide analytic and consultative support to a broad spectrum of internal customer areas and external business partners.
•Develops and maintains moderate- to extremely-complex computer programs using programming languages (such as SAS, R, SQL)
•Creating effective visualizations and comprehensive documentation to explain complex topics to a variety of audiences
•Teach and mentor others in the use of AI/Machine Learning
•Solve business problems and find patterns and insights with structured and unstructured data.

 

 

 

REQUIREMENTS
•Bachelor’s degree and 4-6 years of experience or Master’s degree / PhD and 2-4 years of experience.
•Background in analytic consulting desired – any industry.
•Experience with data mining, data visualization and Machine Learning
•Experience in one or more business intelligence platforms (e.g. Tableau, Power BI, etc.)
•Competence in a wide variety of programming languages, including SAS, MATLAB, C , Python, and Java.
•Strong presentation skills and ability to communicate with all levels of the business
•Understanding of statistical and predictive modeling concepts, clustering and classification techniques and recommendation and optimization algorithms
