A solid statistical background is important -  you'll frequently be tasked with customer churn, lifetime value, and regression based modeling, primarily using SAS and SPSS.  SQL is also a must-have. 

As the "quant jock" for the entire organization, communication is key - you must feel comfortable presenting cross-functionally and to high level stakeholders.  In this role, you'll also work your way up to eventual management of a junior analyst or associate.

Ideal candidates will have:
3- 6 years of experience in campaign analytic modeling
Experience with SAS, SPSS or other analytical software
