To support our growth and strengthen our analytics team, emnos USA is seeking a bright, curious, business-oriented Senior Analyst to join our Chicago office. He or she will be an integral part of a dynamic team; analyzing and driving insights and value from consumer data (including Loyalty Card and POS data) to help our clients with some of their most important marketing and commercial decisions. The Senior Analyst is responsible for owning the analytic projects and is a key contributor in developing client relationships. He or she will work independently and collaboratively with other analysts to interpret insights and derive strategic recommendations – ensuring successful and timely delivery of projects.

Lead delivery on large analytical projects
  - Collaborate with Manager of Analytics to scope projects; create timelines and key milestones
  - Guide and direct other analysts on projects
  - Extract and process large volumes of consumer behavioral and transaction data
  - Develop and use data mining and statistical skills (including existing and new innovative methodologies in descriptive profiling stats, segmentations, non-supervised methods, predictive models, etc.) in order to most effectively answer our clients’ questions
  - Hands-on use of SAS (as well as R, Python, or other programming languages)
  - Ensure flawless execution and timely delivery of all work
  - Continuously contribute to the improvement and optimization of our analytic initiatives

Interpret insights and derive strategic and operational recommendations
  - Use PowerPoint, or other forms of visual storytelling, to summarize findings; propose innovative data presentation and visualization options
  - Work collaboratively with consultants and other analysts to provide best-in-class insights
  - Present findings to client

  - Realized improvements in processes (standardized and automated) to continuously recognize efficiency gain

  - Effective support for and collaboration with the emnos consulting, operations, and product teams

Skills & Experience

Must Haves
MA/MS in Mathematics, Statistics, or Quantitative Analysis
5+ years’ experience in Analyst role on client side (retail preferred) or agency/consulting/marketing analytics
Proven ability to support large scale analytic projects - ability to mine large volumes of data into actionable and accurate information
Hands-on, proficient statistical programming in SAS (experience with Hadoop/Python/SPARK is preferred)
Strong analytical and quantitative problem solving ability with hands-on experience in one or more of the following:
    o Segmentation: Clustering/Factor/Structural Equation Modeling
    o Direct Marketing: Linear and/or Logistic Regression/Optimization Techniques
    o Test and Measurement: Experimental Design - Fractional Factorial/Taguchi methods
Ability to communicate ideas and analysis results effectively both verbally and in writing to both technical and non-technical audiences
Developed business acumen
Strong skills in Microsoft Office

Solid understanding of machine learning
Experience with Unix/Linux Operating System
Experience processing data in large-scale environments using Python programming
and technology stacks such as Hadoop / Spark
