Here’s your  chance to do influential and interesting work with an up-and-coming West Coast company. We're looking for an inquisitive and experienced product analytics professional for a Director-level role at a booming social eCommerce startup in the Bay Area . In this role, you'll get your hands dirty with data— projects will include statistical modeling, advanced data analysis, and using analytics to glean actionable insight to improve product strategy. Make no mistake, this role is very hands-on, but you’ll also need solid leadership and interpersonal skills. As Director, you will interact with members of teams throughout the organization, building relationships to evangelize data driven decision making across initiatives. The Director also needs to be comfortable managing the daily activities of a team of direct reports as well as establishing long term strategic vision for the product analytics group.

We’re searching for a communicative and strategic people manager with a good grasp on cutting edge analytics techniques, tools, and practices. The Director must be able to look at a business problem with a statistician’s mindset and apply analytics to solve it.

 

This might be a match if you have:

         A strong hands-on analytics background with experience in consumer facing product analytics

         Ability to code and develop dashboards

         Strong statistical modeling skills

         Excellent managerial capabilities and experience leading direct reports

         Expertise in SQL and R

 

Salary for the role ranges based on level and experience.
