Like all team members, this person must be extremely detail-oriented, with a curious nature and the drive to constantly push the envelope of how we integrate data and technology to provide innovative solutions to our clients.

 

The digital analytics implementation specialist is responsible for supporting all advanced platform implementations (Adobe Analytics, Google 360, etc.) as well as tagging, testing, and ad hoc troubleshooting.

 

Responsibilities

 

  • Implement and manage analytics platforms (primarily Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics, and Google Analytics 360)
  • Manage project timelines and budgets
  • Direct data layer implementation on new sites and pages across website properties
  • Partner with development teams for user acceptance testing and implementation
  • Manage tags via tag management platform (primarily Adobe Dynamic Tag Management, Google Tag Manager, and Tealium)
  • Diagnose issues with existing platform configurations and tags, and provide recommendations for improvement
  • Work with third parties to resolve discrepancies or platform issues
  • Maintain working knowledge of industry best practices and changes in analytics platforms, and identify how they impact existing clients
  • As needed, work with developers to communicate what an implementation is designed to accomplish; define JavaScript functions that need to be executed
  • Implement site personalization tools (Optimizely, Monetate, Maxymiser, etc.)

Requirements

 

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Five or more years of working with the Adobe suite: Adobe Analytics (SiteCatalyst), Target (Test&Target), Adobe Campaign, Adobe Audience Manager, ad hoc analysis (Discover), and Digital Pulse
  • Five or more years of experience with HTML, JavaScript, jQuery, and basic computer programming
  • Exposure to web diagnostic tools like Fiddler2, Charles Proxy, or Firebug
  • Five or more years of experience creating and maintaining operational data quality monitoring processes
  • Five or more years of experience with key features including eVars, success events, VISTA rules, SAINT classifications, raw data feeds, pathing/fallout, and marketing channels
  • Experience working with tag management platforms and data layers
  • Strong Excel skills
  • Desire to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
  • Excellent communication skills for articulating needs and opportunities with nontechnical audiences
  • Adobe certification a plus
  • Tag management certification a plus
  • Report development and Tableau experience a plus
  • Mobile and app experience a plus
