Analytics Manager AND Associate Manager (Syndicated Research)

We are working on two roles – one at a Manager-level and the other at an Associate-Manager level. Both positions will be responsible for owning particular categories and becoming the “category expert” in order to inform trade marketing and brand marketing of new products entering the category and overall category trends.
These roles will provide ongoing and one-off analyses, as well as reporting utilizing Point of Sale (POS) and household panel data, and others and be expected to go beyond just reporting the numbers to tell a story with the data.
Thorough knowledge of IRI or Nielsen POS and panel data is essential. Communication skills are vital as these roles will be working closely with internal stakeholders as well as the on-site vendors. Any exposure to or experience leading analytical projects related to forecasting, marketing mix modeling, or price elasticity projects is a plus.
This role is located in Atlanta and salary is commensurate with experience. Preference is for local candidates, but our client is open to candidates who are able to relocate to Atlanta.
- 2+ years (Associate Manager) and 4+ years (Manager-level) of syndicated research experience in a client-side CPG organization OR in a supplier-side organization focusing on CPG clients
- Experience with both Point of Sale (POS) and household panel data; keen ability to set up the necessary foundational reports
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing or a related field preferred
- Strong communication skills with a proven ability to collaborate across different internal and/or external teams
