This person will be the sole member of the category management function and be responsible for building the capacity and acting as the in-house expert.

This is a new role focusing on syndicated research, so our client is looking for someone who’s data savvy and is fluent across a mix of databases and data types. This position will report into the Director of Insights and will be a high-visibility role will partner closely with key stakeholders to provide ongoing and one-off analyses, as well as reporting utilizing Point of Sale (POS) and other data sources.



  • 3+ years of syndicated research experience in a client-side CPG organization OR a supplier-side organization focusing on CPG clients
  • Experience with Point of Sale (POS) data and databases; keen ability to pull data to address business questions, set up the necessary foundational reports, etc.
  • Strong communication skills with a proven ability to collaborate across different internal and/or external teams
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing or a related field a must
